CORNERED giveaway!

I am thrilled to have a short story included in CORNERED: 15 Stories of Bullying and Defiance (Running Press), out this July. Look at this beautiful, evocative cover....



Edited by my PLL colleague Rhoda Belleza, the anthology includes stories by:
My piece is different from other things I've written. It's magical realism. It's also based on a real-life experience of mine -- not with bullying or with gaining magical powers, but with taking a women's self-defense course and dealing with the emotions (embarassment, fear, empowerment, and everything in between) that the class brought up.

I have an ARC of CORNERED to give away, and the rules are easy:
