THINGS I LOOKED AT AND LIKED

I'm going to start using this blog as a depository for interesting (at least to me), enjoyable (or sometimes not) links / stories. Of course I'll also still give the heads up when something of note happens to me or with the books. Like when my Book Smugglers Smugglivus post goes live, tomorrow. Or when the Pawing Through Books interview gets posted as part of their "12 Days of Christmas Extravaganza."

In the meantime, here's some cool stuff from my Internet explorations today:

• Love this house tour from Apartment Therapy! Usually my aesthetic is a bit more "cozy" (or some could say "cluttered"), vintage, farm-style...But I love how this home displays personality, warmth, and maturity all at the same time.
• Fascinating charts about sex, body image, and age from OK Cupid.
• This HuffPo piece offers advice on how to talk to young girls - the ones most vulnerable to mixed (or flat-out negative) messages from media and society. I appreciate that they suggest warming up by talking about books and reading. 
• OMG RYAN GOSLING CAN I BE YOUR GIRLFRIEND?
