Here are the top three things I am excited about:
1) Meeting excited and potential readers.
2) Spending time with Becca F. and Moira Young.
3) Sleeping in hotels. I looooooooove hotels.
Here are the top three things I am nervous about:
1) No one liking me.
2) Not getting enough sleep.
3) Feeling out of my league.
Is that okay to admit (I'm talking #s 1 and 3)? Sometimes I feel like all the other authors I know - even the other debut novelists, like me! - are SO composed and gregarious and self-assured, and I'm like THE ONLY ONE who is nervous and bumbling. Is this just a "projection" of my fears? Probably. But true all the same.
